New puzzles start at midnight UTC. The puzzle already open stays on its date until you reload, so a midnight change does not erase your game. Everyone choosing the same date and difficulty gets the same grid.
Optional game saving keeps your progress in this browser for up to 30 days. It works only for our built-in puzzles, never for custom word lists. Shared results contain the date, difficulty, progress and whether you used the answer key; they do not reveal word positions.
Play it your way
On a phone, tap the first and last letters of a word. You can scroll normally between selections. On a computer, click the endpoints or drag between them. Keyboard players can use arrows and Enter. Choose Larger letters if you prefer a wider grid.
To revisit a shared daily puzzle, use its dated link. Puzzles are available from 28 October 2026 onwards, up to today. The daily arrangement is generated on your device with its matching answers; it does not depend on a subscription or a daily editor.
